Craig S Gandy

Craig Stephan Gandy, beloved husband of Liliana Gandy passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 1, 2013 in Mesa, Arizona at the age of 55. Born on March 22, 1958 in Oak Park, Illinois, the son of Robert Gravelle and Jane (Scotty) Gravelle. On June 15, 1996, he married the love of his life, Liliana Rubio Ardila.

Craig proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1976 – 1996. He served in various capacities throughout his career, including, Military Patrol Dog Handler, Army Recruiter, and retiring as Military Police.

Craig will always be remembered for his ability to make people laugh and to play pranks. He enjoyed baking short bread cookies for the holidays. Craig always took the time to help those in need. He was always there for his family and friends. He loved his Coyote Hockey games; he never missed a game. Most of all, Craig loved spending time with his family.

Craig is survived by his wife Liliana Gandy; his children Eric Gandy, Anthony Keever, Shawn Gandy, Phillip Keever, Tasha Meier, and Michael Keever; his mother Jane Gravelle; brother John Gandy; sister Deborah Staken; 10 grandchildren; and all his favorite nieces and nephews.

A memorial service to celebrate Craig’s life will be held Saturday, December 14, 2013, at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park and Funeral Care Cemetery Chapel. Full Military Honors to follow.
