David Wyndle McCullough

David Wyndle McCullough of San Tan Valley, AZ passed away, October 7, 2018 at the age of 84. He was born July 12, 1934 in Dallas, TX to Denver and Ella McCullough. He graduated from Crozier Tech in Dallas TX. Following high school, David proudly served in the United States Air Force. He was stationed in various locations including Thailand, Japan, Ethiopia, and several in the U.S. He retired after 22 years of service. He worked in the aerospace industries for 20 years. Which allowed him to travel the world with his family. He loved every minute of it . David was an aircraft enthusiast, he was also an avid musician and played guitar and bass; he played everything from Gospel to Country music. On March 4, 1961, David was married to the love of his life, Orean LaPalio and the two started their family. David is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Orean; Their three children; Suzanne (Ron) Brittian, Daner (Lori) McCullough, and Theresa Gonzalez; grandchildren, Michael (Shianne) McCullough, Lee Brown, Kameron (Matt) Smith, David McCullough, Angelo Gonzalez and Joanna Gonzalez; great grandchildren, Alexa McCullough, Indie Brown, Daner McCullough, Madison McCullough, Aiden Smith, Gia McCullough, David McCullough and Jacob McCullough; his sisters, Lorraine Miller, Pauline Hauser (Deceased), Nowetta Smallwood and Vivian Quinn; his brothers, Robert McCullough (deceased), Lloyd McCullough (Deceased),Gary (Frankie) McCullough, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He will be dearly missed. A Visitation will be held, Wednesday, October 10, 2018 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm at Mariposa Gardens Cemetery Chapel, 6747 E. Broadway Rd in Mesa. Funeral mass will be held at 10:00am, Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 20615 E Ocotillo Rd, Queen Creek, AZ with a visitation one hour prior. David will be laid to rest at The National Cemetery of Arizona with full Military Honors 1:30pm, 23029 Cave Creek Rd, Phoenix,AZ Arrangements entrusted to Mariposa Gardens (480) 830-4422.
