

He was born December 10 1964, in Naic Cavite, Philippines, to Gavino and Celestina Nito. He was a 1981 graduate of Western Colleges High School. He attended college at University of the East, Manila from 1981 to 1983 studying in electrical engineering. He later joined the United States Navy in May 8, 1986. He married Elisa Manalo on April 9, 1988 in Oxnard, California.
In the military, he worked as a construction electrician serving for 20 years and retired as an E-6, Petty Officer First Class on May 31, 2006. Post-retirement, he continued to work as an electrical technician in Honolulu, Hawaii. Davy truly lived his life happy through the simple joys in life; performing his duties in the Church of Christ, making people laugh, and spending time with his family. Davy had a special gift to reach people in a deep and meaningful way.
He is survived by his wife, Elisa; his sons, Kevin and Kyle; his parents, Gavino and Celestina; his three brothers, John, Mark and Noly; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Davy will be fondly remembered by friends and family as a loving father, a dear friend, an inspiration, a proud patriot and US Navy veteran.
Family, friends, and brethren in Christ are invited to Mariposa Garden Memorial Park and Funeral Care from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. Friday, January 11, 2019 for the visitation and the interment from 11 a.m. - 12 a.m. Saturday, January 12, 2019.
