He graduated from Bridgewater-Raritan High School in Bound Brook, New Jersey where he excelled in academics, football, and track. After graduation he was accepted into Seton Hall University located in South Orange, New Jersey where he studied Business and Management. In September of 1967, while working for a local bank in New Jersey, he went to collect an outstanding debt payment that was due by the owner of a beauty salon. While talking with the debtor he noticed a beautiful, vibrant, and charismatic woman by the name of Dolores Ann Criscuolo who was a hair stylist at the salon. He enthusiastically inquired about her and learned that she was single, as was he. Within 30 minutes of leaving he phoned the salon and asked to speak with her. Dolores took the call and was greeted by Dennis asking her if she would like to go on a date. She was unable to accept his invitation but he remained persistent and called her two days later. They went out for dinner and dancing that night and the magic was sparked. He quickly realized he had met the woman of his dreams, his soul mate. Within three weeks of dating he proposed marriage and she eagerly accepted. They were married on October 8, 1967. They had three children; Maria, Dennis, and Brian. In 1974 they decided to move to Arizona where they have resided since. Dennis was in business management with several major tire companies and received many major accolades including top sales, increased profit margins, and successfully turning many locations from unprofitable to profitable. After many years of working in a corporate environment he decided to pursue his entrepreneurial spirit and established three successful businesses. He quickly gained a positive reputation in Mesa for not only his business successes but also his community involvement. Dennis was an active member in the Catholic Community serving with the Knights of Columbus, The Lion's Club, and also as a dedicated parishioner of Christ The King Church in Mesa and Saint Andrew's in Chandler. His community involvement also included coaching little league baseball for both of his sons and softball for his daughter. Dennis enjoyed playing raquetball, golf, basketball and bowling in his earlier years; fishing, and card games;but loved most of all writing his precious poetry. He also loved to travel, dine, and dance. Dennis was a very charitable, compassionate, loving, honest, respected, and dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. He will be sorely missed by everyone who had the honor of knowing or meeting him.
