Devan Joseph Walkowiak

Devan was a kind, loving, and caring young man, who lived life to the fullest, and gave life his fullest. Devan loved nature and all of the outdoors, from the largest of critters to the tiniest of bugs on a wall. Devan graduated from Mountain View High school in 2018, worked at Discount Tire, and Empire / Cat where he made many friends. Devan had the innate ability to make friends young and old and cross bilingual barriers as he shared his knowledge and passion of life and the great outdoors.

Devan (an only child) is survived by his parents Dean and Amy Walkowiak, grandfather Richard Walkowiak, grandmother Shirley Fleet, aunt Shirley (Mike) Dango, aunt Deana (Mike) Olson cousins Mathew and Elizabeth Dango, Ashley (Lucas) Goble, Amber (Jesse Rose) Walkowiak. Devan's life partner Breanna Van Horn, and many loving and caring friends and family.

He was preceded in death by grandmother Dolores Clewes, grandmother Joan Walkowiak, grandfather Norman Louro, and Uncle Kyle Walkowiak. Devan had many great friends that include Nathan (Danelle) Fear, Josh Taylor, Tanner Saunders, Brayan Cardenas, Kirk Naumann, and James Brown.

In lieu of flowers, family requests that you; Take a friend fishing, or go on a hike, take a picture of nature, or hop on a bike! Devan was about sharing the great outdoors with everyone just the same, So please go out in nature and do it in Devan's name.
