Diana Kay Seramur Miller was born on January 2, 1947 in Gary, Indiana and passed away on December 14, 2024 in Tempe, Arizona.
Diana grew up in northwest Indiana and the suburbs of Chicago. She attended Bloom High School in Chicago Heights and went on to serve in the United States Army. She moved to Arizona in 2001 to be near her son, David, and his growing family. Over the years, she loved spoiling her granddaughters and the dogs she fostered and adopted through the Arizona Beagle Rescue.
She is predeceased by her parents, Dorothy and Boyd Seramur, and niece Trisha Formentini. She is survived by her son, David(Anna) Miller and granddaughters Dana and Brianna Miller; sister Donna(Matt) Daniels; nephews Joe(Marina) Formentini and Nick(Brittany) Formentini; great-nephews Michael and Ethan; and many cousins and friends.
Diana had many fond memories of fishing in Ely MN, traveling, playing in Las Vegas, being a part of the Bunco Babes, and watching sports games. She was a lively soul who could light up any room with laughter and will be remembered for her lust for life and fond memories made surrounded by friends and family. Join us in celebrating her life in the way that she lived hers, with great love and joy.
The burial will take place on Friday, February 21, 2025 at 2:30 pm at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 2929 E. Pinnacle Peak Road, Phoenix, Arizona 85024.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Hospice of the Valley www.hov.org or Arizona Beagle Rescue azbeaglerescue.com
