Donald Jerome (DJ) Bobkowski, Jr., 65, passed away on Friday, June 13, 2025. He was born on October 26, 1959 in Chicago, Illinois and graduated from Elmwood Park (IL) High School in 1979. DJ was a person who was always willing to help and achieved many “Going the Extra Mile” awards from his places of employment in manufacturing and service industries.
He is survived by his two sisters, Cynthia (Thomas) McCahon and Cheryl (Jeffrey) Steeno; five nephews/nieces: Shawn McCahon, Katharine (Tyler) Bellerose, Austin (Erika) Steeno, Amber Steeno, Cassandra Steeno (Matthew Hughey); four grandnephews and grandnieces: Shelby, Paeton, Maddix and River McCahon. A committal service will be scheduled in October.
