Doris Virginia “Ginny” Sparks was born on September 9th, 1928 and quietly passed away on December 2, 2015, 11 months after losing her husband, Jack, of 63 years. She was devoted to her family, loved life, had a great sense of humor, and cared deeply for other people and for animals.
Ginny served others in a long career as a Registered Nurse. She and her husband, Jack, travelled around Arizona after they both retired. Her most cherished times in life were spending time with family, friends, and pets. She is greatly missed and will be lovingly remembered.
Ginny Sparks is survived by her son Bill, daughter Susan and husband Dennis, daughter-in-law, Joy, sister Joan, grandchildren Bobby, Laura, Ginny, Jackie, Sondra, Allison, and Corey, 10 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and her best friend of over 40 years, June. A private service was held for family and friends on January 8, 2016. She is interred at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona with her beloved husband.
