She was born in Creston, Iowa on July 28, 1941. Dorothy received her high school diploma from Dowling Catholic High School in Des Moines, Iowa. She was married to Bob Reimers on April 198, 1969 in Dallas, Texas before settling down in Santa Ana, California until retirement in Mesa, Arizona. Dorothy had a career in running operations for Southwestern Insurance and Annuity Services, a company owned with her husband. She was a member of the Catholic Church and had a passion for being a homemaker for her family while volunteering for various roles in the local Little League and spending time with friends. In her later years she loved attending events for her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Bob, her sons Rob and Tom, her stepson Chris, four grandchildren (Annika, Carson, Ben and Max), and many nieces and nephews. Dorothy was preceded in death by her father John Leininger, mother Margaret Leininger, and brothers Jerome Leininger and Philip Leininger.
