Dorothy was a woman of faith that showed through every time we were around her.   She lived for her family and was so very proud of each one of you.   She will be dearly missed by us all, but her legacy lives on.   I know her final years were not what she would have hoped, but it is so telling of who she was and who she raised, by the great care that was given to her.  May she rest in peace alongside Ruben and the others who have passed.

My memories of Aunt Dorothy were always of warmth and love.  She had a soft laugh that made you feel good.    Dan and I were always playing hard outside and often into some mischief.   Aunt Dorothy was never harsh and new how to make us own up to our misbehavior.

My mother, Irene loved Dorothy and her brother Ruben so much.   That is why we got to visit in Arizona often or they would come stay with us in Durango.   I have fond memories of staying out at Leupp, "working" in the trading post in the mornings and playing all day after.   Aunt Dorothy would have a nice lunch for us before Dan and I would head back out for endless made up sports games.
