Duane Lloyd

The rock of our family, Duane Lloyd, 65, of Queen Creek, Arizona went to be with our Lord on January 20, 2013. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on April 8, 1947. Duane graduated from Conley High School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Duane married Diann on August 6, 1966. Duane most recently worked for Allied Tube and Conduit in Phoenix, Arizona. He absolutely loved this job more than any other position he ever held. Previously, he worked for Ducommun as a quality manager. He devoted his heart and soul to this job as well. Duane had a passion for the Pittsburg Steelers. He is survived by his loving wife, Diann Lloyd; his son, Jason Lloyd; his grandchildren, Mikayla Lloyd, Gunner Lloyd, and Gage Lloyd; his mother, Alice Lloyd; and his siblings, Annetta and David Lloyd. He was preceded in death by his father, David Lloyd. Duane was a wonderful father. He spent time with his son every weekend watching Steelers games. Duane will be missed so much by his wife and family. Arrangements are entrusted to Melcher Mortuary Chapel of the Roses, 43 S. Stapley Drive, Mesa, Arizona 85204 (480) 964-4537. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 25, 2013 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at the funeral home. Funeral service will follow at 6pm.
