This month marks 7 months since we said good bye. Not a day goes by that I do not think of you and wish I could hear your voice again. Miss you deeply. Love you always. Your memory will love on. All is well by faith...Blessings and Peace my dearest diddy.

Al was a great guy, always smiling and laughing. He was a friend who reached out to me in my time of deep need. He will be sorely missed.

I was an occasional limo client of Mr. Brimage's and recognized his photo in the paper instantly.  In all my years of business travel, I believe he ran the most professional yet friendly service.  My sympathies to his family and friends.

What a wonderful memory of your love one. Al,always with a big smile, great charm and loving heart. He will be missed. I will not forget his talks and stories he shared with me of the family.  May you continue to find hope, healing, and comfort of God's love.

What a wonderful person Alan was!  His smile and kindness never failed to gladden my heart and he is greatly missed by all of us at DeVry/Mesa.

I believe I only met Mr Brimage once, so I certainly could not say that I knew him personally.  I do know his daughter, and she is a light unto this world.  She always spoke highly of him and I know he will be missed.

Dear Dolly, Children and Grandchildren,  May your wonderful memories soon replace       your grief in the loss of your loved one.  An old Thai fortune cookie says, "Life is just a journey.  We know neither the hour we enter or the hour we depart.  We have several traveling companions along the way".  And may I add. I feel fortunate that Al was one of mine because he was very good company.

May God hold and keep you wrapped in the  comfort  of his loving arms.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Please accept my deepest sympathies.

What a kind and wonderful man Alan was.  I feel grateful to have known him.  Many of my days at work were made better by starting with Alan's infectious smile, positive attitude, and warm welcome.  We all should aspire to be more like him!  He will be missed by many.  My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Alan was a man of quality, courage and faith.  In my conversations with him it was obvious that he deeply loved his wife and family and that God had a special place in his life.  He had a smile that would light up a convention center, a positive attitude that would make anyone's day brighter and a dedication to his profession that was inspiring.  I'm not sure what brought him to the job in security at the building, but he made the most of touching many, many lives while there.  With appreciation for having been able to know him and my deepest sympathy to the family.

Alan was a very special man that greeted me with a smile every morning.  He was truly one of the kindest and most positive people I have ever had the privilege of meeting.  My sincerest condolences go out to his family.  May you know that he loved you all so much, and that he was very proud of each and every one of you!   He will be missed by many..............

I knew Alan from my work and I cannot express how very sorry I am to hear of his passing. He was such a cheerful, kind, upbeat man.  Every morning he was the first person I saw and he always made my day start bright. He was a true Christian man and an incredible role model. Everyday he was joyful to be alive. I hope the Lord will comfort his family.

My condolences go out to the family as they go through this difficult time.  It was a shock this morning to hear of Alan's passing. He was a special guy and always made the mornings much more enjoyable.  No matter the day, I was always greeted by genuinely kind words and a smile. It hasn't been the same without him and I hope to see him again in the next life. Anyone that was fortunate enough to have met Alan is better off for it.

My deepest condolences to you,Elaine, and your family on AL's passing. He was one of my earliest customers but soon became a dear friend. We used to banter back and forth but he always had his family's well being first in mind! He was a real warm genuine human being.

Alan was an exceptional gentleman.  He always greeted you with a smile and regardless of how he felt or what was going on in his life, he always made it about you.  Alan worked as the guard in the Bank of America building and it was a pleasure to see his smiling face each day.  He is sorely missed.  May he rest in peace.

I can not be there physically but there in spirit and share your grief. Al is very much at peace now, no more pain.  We have great memories and choose to remember only the good things. My father is the best man I have ever had the honor of knowing, I will miss him dearly. It was a true gift to be with him as he took his last breath. It is a memory I will cherish the rest of my days. We had a special daughter bond that lasted my adult life. One of the most cherished memories will be that of us sharing what we were reading in the bible and praying together. He was never a burden, it was with pride I stayed by his side throughout his illness. I have written this poem in his dedication. I love you diddy with all my heart, keep watch...we are taken care of the mom as well. All is well by faith....

Alan (Elmer Staten) is my oldest brother and I miss him very much. My savings grace is I know for sure we will meet again. I was blessed to be able to spend 8 days with him in Mesa, in April, and I will treasure this time forever. I know he enjoyed this quality time as well. My heart is sad that I can't hear his voice or be able to see him again in this life, but I am happy he is not suffering anymore. RIP Elmer Staten, I love you. Baby Sista

Our love and condolences to the family! Our prayers are for God to comfort you and keep you in His care. We know that he has E Alan with Him...because to be absent from body is to be present with the Lord.(2nd Cor 5:8)  God bless you!

I am saddened to hear of Alan's passing. He was a special man.  I spoke with him almost every morning when I worked in Mesa.  He was the smiling face at the desk as we all entered the building on our way to work.

Alan had a kind word for all and greeted everyone by name.  The folks he didn't know and guests quickly became his friend.

Alan was more than small talk though.  Most of our conversations would turn to the day's events, or philosophy, or history.  Alan and I would share what we were currently reading as well as movies and music.  Like Alan I grew up in the greater Boston area.  We never tired of talking about Boston in the 60's and 70's.

Alan was also a man with a strong moral and spiritual center.  He would question motives, but had a firm belief in the ultimate goodness in people.

God speed Alan.  I'm happy that we crossed paths on this journey of life and hope to see you down the road in the next.

First let me say that my thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time.  I met Alan when he worked at the Mesa Financial Plaza as a security guard.  The one thing about him that will always stay with me was his smile and kind words every time I saw him.  He was the best part to the start of my day.  This past Saturday when my grandchildren came to see me at work they even asked why Alan had not been at work for a while.  He made an impact on everyone whose life he touched.  He will be missed.
