Emma Jane Hostetler, born March 10, 1920 in St. Marys, OH to Guy and Nora [Baber] Schamp, passed away January 30, 2014 in Gilbert, AZ at the age of 93. Emma was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who had a passion for gardening, cooking, bingo, travel and her rose bushes. She was a long time member of Victory Lutheran Church. Emma worked as an Assembler for many years in various companies such as a toy factory, Westinghouse and worked locally for Motorola for 19 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, six siblings, her first husband Burl Blackburn, who died in WWII and her second husband of 41 years, Forest Hostetler, who passed away in 1987. Emma is survived by her son and his wife Jack and Lori Hostetler; grandsons Kyle Hostetler and his wife Jessica and Troy Hostetler; great granddaughter Matilda Grace Hostetler as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. A visitation will be held at Mariposa Gardens Funeral Care 400, S. Power Rd in Mesa on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 from 2 – 4 pm and 6 – 8 pm.
