Emmanuel Baldovino Lopez

Emmanuel Badovino Lopez the son of the late Jesus B Lopez and Rustica B Lopez was born December 26, 1930 in Manila, Philippines. He attended public school in Manila and eventually graduated from San Beda College School with a degree in business. He was united in Holy Matrimony to Alita Pineda in the province of Lucena, Quezon May 27, 1955. This union was blessed with 4 children.

In 1972 he immigrated to Cleveland Ohio to join his two older sisters and started a new life. After so many years living in Cleveland Ohio, he and his wife decided to relocate to Glendale California for a new opportunity to work for B.O.A as a loan officer. Unfortunately, he suffered a major stroke that limited the right side of his body after his retirement in 1997.

He and his wife then relocated and joined his second eldest son Gerry and his wife Maria and their son Gerard in Tempe Arizona in 1998. They eventually moved and settled in Mesa, Az in the summer of 1998. He had multiple mini strokes and finally the massive stroke that put him in the hospital and later died peacefully in the hospice facility on November 24, 2018.

He was a devout Roman Catholic and lived a very quiet life. He enjoyed fixing cars and doing things around the house. He also liked dancing and listening to the oldies like Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennet. He was very generous person. He was able to help relatives in need and other people back in the Philippines.

He will be missed by his children Tito Lopez (single), Gerry A Lopez (wife: Maria D Lopez), Carina Sargent (single), Emmanuel P Lopez Jr (wife: Annie Lopez). Grand kids: Gerard A Lopez (wife: Isabela Lopez), Julian Sargent (fiancée: Desirae), Jovan Sargent. Great grand kid (Justice Sargent).
