Esther W. Bowman, 87, born May 22, 1924 to Chris and Rosa [Laumer] Wiesender, passed away on March 31, 2012. As a member of the Mesa Church of Christ, Esther enjoyed teaching bible class. She also loved crocheting table cloths and cooking and baking. She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband John E. Bowman, who passed away in June of 1998; adopted daughter Linda Sietz and her sister Ruth Beagle. She is survived by adopted daughter Elizabeth, nieces Judy Glover and Julie McMahan; nephew Robert Moore as well as numerous other family and friends. A visitation will be on Tuesday, April 3rd from 6:00 – 8:00pm with a service on Wednesday, April 4th at 10:00 am at Melcher’s Mortuary Chapel of the Roses, 43 South Stapley Dr, Mesa Arizona 85204.
