Everett M. Johnson

Everett M. Johnson, 85, of Mesa, Arizona passed away on June 12, 2020. Being a veteran, he will be buried at the National Cemetery in Cave Creek, Arizona. Everett M. Johnson was born March 4, 1935 in the city of Mankato, MN to Elmer and Bernice Johnson. Everett was married to Ardys V. Peters on October 27th, 1956. They were married 59 years. Everett worked as a produce manager for 29 years. However, his passion and love in life was working as a carpenter and wood craftsman. Everett brought much joy to many people through his craft work. Everett’s Favorite hobby was throwing that line out in the water, waiting for that big one! Fishing was embedded in his heart from early childhood. Everett looked forward to fishing trips with his children in Minnesota and upon his return to Arizona he entertained us with all the wonderful highlights of his fishing adventures. Everett is survived by his sister, Betty Braun; his children, Thomas Johnson, Debra Balke, Scott Johnson and Cynthia Bowers; his grandchildren, Angela, Rachel, Jenna, Gregory, Derek, Dawn, Alex and Tyler and his great grandchildren, Luke, Leah, Rylan, Tenley and Madison. Everett was preceded in death by his wife Ardys. Everett was an amazing father, grandfather, and great grandfather and friend. He has left us with such fun-loving memories that we will cherish forever.
