Mom was truly a blessing in this world. Her positivity is what allowed her to fight for as long as she did.  You could not have found a more loving, devoted mother and grandmother.

I am so sorry for the loss of your beautiful mom. I'm grateful to have known her as the mom of my dear friend, her daughter, Shelly. I always felt welcome in her home and she would do anything for you. Her love language definitely was service to others-especially baking and cooking. To this day, I still cook French toast the way I learned from her. Her smile radiated love and caring for those around her. She was a beautiful lady through and through. All my love to Shelly, Pete and the rest of her family. You all were a big part of my youth.

Words cannot express the deep ache of losing a beloved grandma that has been such a central figure in your life.  I feel deeply blessed to have had nearly 4 decades of unconditional love, guidance, and support from my grandma.  She taught me to bake, sew, do a cartwheel, take care of baby birds fallen from trees, and that I can do hard things. Most of all she taught me love for my Heavenly Father and the joy of helping others.  The world is a little darker for now, but Heaven is brighter with her light. Until we meet again, I love you forever Grandma!

So sorry for your loss to Pete, Childers/ Sherman/Pflieger/Dalton families. I loved your wife and mom so much. She taught me how to be with my teenaged girls like no other example I had. I laughed with my daughters and stayed positive with them when things looked down because “that was the way Faun did it!”   Her funny and inspiring stories saw me through a lot of experiences in my life and I thank her for her wisdom. My love and comfort to you all now as we  say goodbye to our dear, dear Faun.

Faun was definitely my favorite sister-in-law! I didn’t have the opportunity to spend as much time with her as I’d have liked, living in different states as we did, but I’ll never forget my special times with her. Whether she was teaching me how to can freshly caught tuna, or just telling me one of her delightful stories, she always made me laugh and feel loved. May she rest in peace and reap the rewards of a life well lived.

 I loved your sense of humor.   You could take the worse situation and lighten it up by adding laughter.  Even after you got really sick, you did it.  It takes a lot of strength to stay out of the "black hole" when things are not going your way, and you excelled at it.  Always a positive attitude.  

I also thank you again for making the beautiful baby blankets for my two babies - they were fantastic and I loved them.   

Bless you, sister.  I know you are dancing up there on a cloud and sending love and laughter to your family.

She truly loved her Family! And we loved her!

My heart aches with the immense void my grandmother’s absence leaves behind. Her love, guidance, and warmth have shaped me into the person I am today. Though she may no longer be by my side, her spirit will forever live on in the cherished memories we've created together. Grandma, I'll miss you dearly, and I'll carry your love with me always.
