

Willis was born the 2nd of 4 boys to Willie & Ida Propp, of Stony Plain, Alberta, Canada, September 17, 1920.
Willis’s formative years were spent on the family farm and going to school in Stony Plain.
He spent several years after high school at his family lumber camp, Propp Brothers Sawmill, where he struggled with his calling and settled in his heart to give his life in the ministry.
Willis started in the work in 1948 in Rimbey, Alberta, with Willie Fullerton who was the overseer. Willis had a deep love for souls and gave his life for 62 in the harvest field. Most of those years spent in provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan, with some time spent in Sweden and Oklahoma.
Willis loved music, singing, and playing the piano, and penned many of his own hymns. He made many contacts and friends world wide and had a special place in his heart for all his fellow laborers.
Willis is survived by brother Coy (Marlene) Propp of Mesa, AZ, sister-in-law Grace Propp of Edmonton, AB, nephew Robyn Propp of Edmonton, AB, nieces Gloria (Ken) Layden of Innisfail, AB, Marilyn Massey of Edmonton, AB, Jenelle (Rod) Snow of Litchfield, NE and Roberta (Merven) McLeod of Mesa, AZ. As well as great and great great nephews and nieces. Willis was predeceased by his parents, brothers Troy (Chrissy) Propp, Carlos Propp, niece Jodi Propp and great great nephew Geoffrey Layden.
