Garrett Lane Noakes

Garrett Lane Noakes passed from this life to the next on February 10, 2024, at home with his wife by his side. Garrett was born in Mesa, AZ on July 29, 1972 to Patricia Noakes (Lingeman) and the late Kenneth G. Noakes.

He grew up an avid lover of skateboarding, punk music and Volkswagen bugs. Garrett attended Marcos De Niza high school and went on to receive his Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from ASU. In 2003 he married his one forever love, Melissa Noakes (Madrigal) along Oak Creek in Sedona, AZ. In 2011 he became a father and fell in love again with his daughter, Emma Rose Noakes. He provided a life full of laughter, sarcasm, adventure and always with love.

Garrett was the proud big brother of Brian Noakes and sister-in-law, Kim Knigge Noakes. He was the son-in-law to Steve and Robin Madrigal; the supportive brother-in-law to Meredith and Sammy Gonzales; Morgan Madrigal-Rieck and Niels Rieck. He was the entertaining and trouble causing uncle to Lilyana (aka Nancy) and Julian Gonzales.

Garrett was a loyal friend to many, could talk to anyone, make everyone laugh and was loved immensely.

A celebration of his life will be held on March 23rd from 3pm to 5pm at 9432 E. Fairway Circle, Mesa, AZ 85207. Please wear your best/funny/sarcastic t-shirt in G's honor.
