

He was born October 17, 1929 in Jerome, Arizona to Gordon St. Clair Wallace and Marguerite Young Wallace.
He is survived by his wife, Annette McCoy, daughter Sheryl L. Wallace, Sons Douglas Clair Wallace, Gary Sheridan Wallace, Michael Gordon Wallace, Gerald Steven Wallace, and spouses, 25 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
Gordon Wallace served many missions for the Latter-day Saint Church. His missions included the Central Atlantic States as a young man, and Nauvoo Illinois and Palmyra New York with his wife.
As an educator, his life was devoted to inspiring young minds to love and appreciate the world of science and math
Beginning in his high school years he became well known, in the Phoenix area, as a talented musician and entertainer. The Gordon Wallace Orchestra brought people together to celebrate the joy of music and dancing.
Gordon served his country as a First Lieutenant in the United State Air Force.
His family lovingly remembers him as a master tinkerer, a mighty fisherman, and admire him for his legacy and example of how to work hard.
Above all he will be remembered for his love of his Father in Heaven and his Savior.
He loved to teach the gospel of Jesus Christ and share his testimony. We believe that he will continue this valiant effort throughout the eternities.
Services will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2015, 1:00 pm, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, San Tan First Ward Building, 3544 S. Atherton Blvd. Gilbert, AZ 85297. A public visitation will begin 1 hour prior to service at the church.A dedication of his Grave and burial will take place at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park and Funeral Care, 6747 E. Broadway Road, Mesa, AZ 85206, following the chapel service.
