Grace Santoro Poteste, 87 years of age was peacefully welcomed to eternal life surrounded by her beloved family and caregivers on Nov. 20, 2009. She was born Dec. 31, 1922 in Greensburg, PA the daughter of the late Michael and Louise (Occhuizi) Santoro. In life she gave unselfishly to those she loved and was a constant source of inspiration.
She is survived by her husband Pat with whom she shared 63 wonderful years, three daughters and their husbands: Deborah & Ron Chamberlain, Denise & Russ Rute, and Donna & Jeff Campbell. She was blessed with 3 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, also one brother and three sisters.
Visitation will be held at Mariposa Gardens, 6747 E. Broadway Road, Mesa, AZ on Wed. January 6, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2010 at 10:00 am at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1800 East Libra Drive, Tempe, AZ 85283.
