Gregory Spence Farr, age 64, of Mesa, Arizona passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2025. Gregory was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Argus and Miriam Farr, where he spent his youth with his older sister, Shelley and younger brother, Jeff. The family later moved to Window Rock, Arizona and grew with the addition of three more boys (Jon, Jeremy and Chad). Greg went on to attend New Mexico Military Institute before permanently moving to Mesa, Arizona, his forever home.
Greg enjoyed art, architecture, playing chess, listening to music and of course, hunting for rare and curious items. He turned his favorite hobby into a profession and became an entrepreneur by owning the Antiques Plaza in Mesa. Greg was incredibly talented and business savvy at spotting antiques and understanding their market value for resale purposes. He was well respected within the small business community at Mesa’s Main Street. Through his shop, he brought so much joy to others by making collectible objects affordable and accessible to everyone of all ages and different backgrounds. Despite being surrounded by shiny and precious objects all day long, 7 days a week at his shop, Greg always stayed grounded and valued his family and friends as the most priceless thing in his life.
Greg made time for his tight-knit family, which was always his top priority. He was selflessly dedicated to his mother, Miriam and to his favorite aunt, NaDella. Although he never married, Greg was an endearing uncle to his nieces and nephews and had close relationships with his siblings and their spouses. Greg was easy going, witty and good-natured. But his true trademark was his authenticity, civility and kindness, which made him so effortlessly easy to be dearly loved by all who knew him.
Greg was preceded in death by his father, Argus Farr. He is survived by his mother, Miriam Farr; his siblings: Shelly, Jeff, Jon, Jeremy and Chad; his sisters-in-law: Jennifer, Leigh, Leora and Mimi; his nieces and nephews: Amorey, Callahan, Eli, Indra, Juliet, Lucas and Max and his aunt, NaDella.
