Gregory Robert Farster

Greg, son of Robert and Lucille Farster, was born on April 7, 1954 in Dixon, IL. He attended Dixon High School. He married Mary Sue Dawson, his high school sweetheart on February 4, 1972. Making their home in Dixon, and later moving to Spring Valley, IL. Greg & Mary Sue moved to Arizona in 2002. He drove a semi for his father’s company until 1988. Then he worked for Mack and Lunde Trucks selling semis before branching out on his own. He enjoyed spending time with his children and the many trips he and Mary Sue took.

Greg was preceded in death by his parents and loving wife and brothers Mike and Doug and sister Debbie. He is survived by daughters Krista of Gilbert, AZ, Kayla of Chandler, AZ, son Ryan (Erin) Farster of Dixon, IL, grandsons Nolan Farster, Drake Farster, and Ethan Farster all of Dixon, IL, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He will also be greatly missed by his boxer baby, Sammie.

His funeral is being handled by Lakeshore Mortuary 1815 S Dobson Rd. Mesa, AZ 85202, on Tuesday November 14 at 10:00 AM
