Ma cherie harry,  the snow we had in December  reminded me of our times, good times in the back yard on malta street.  Dad would make an ice rink for us, all of us bundled up outside playing. In the snow.  We learned how to skate in our backyard, and attempted to play hockey, miss you everyday.  The fresh snow piled up ,and gently falling flakes remind me of home, and of all of us. It is hard to believe you left us 1 year ago.  I miss you every day. I know you are whole again, walking, talking and beating the angels at monopoly like you used to beat us!  A day does not go by that I don't recall a memory of you sometimes with a smile, sometimes with tears.   I am glad you are with Jack, Mom and Dad and all the other relatives that have gone before us. Watch over us and guide us to our heavenly Father's home when our time comes. Love you very much. 

Harry you are now up  with your family who loves you.  you have rejoined your mom and dad and your brother and now you're able to watch over the rest of the family I'm sure you are resting in peace till one day we all meet again

Uncle Harry,

I didn’t get to see you often but when I did it meant a lot to me. You always made me laugh and I’ll never forget your sense of humor. I remember you being proud of me when I started playing hockey in high school. I brought printed photos to show my AZ ‘Ohana and I remember you going through them with me and cracking jokes. That is my favorite memory of you. 

Every time I watch anything Star Trek it has reminded me of you and always will. In high school one of my teachers was also a Star Trek fanatic and you gave me one of your extra collectibles to pass onto her, she was so thrilled! I have always wondered if you enjoyed the newest movies.

I am devastated your no longer with us but I am relieved that you don’t have to suffer any longer. I love you so much Uncle Harry.

My memory of Harry that makes me smile was at Dave & Denise’s home.
It was Canadian Thanksgiving & Denise was having trouble making crepes.
Harry stepped in & said “ hey I will do them!” & with smile & happiness in his heart , he presented the most beautiful plateful of crepes I’ve ever seen.  Delicious too!   He was a good soul & a great brother &son & friend.
RIP dear Harry.   Time to go fishing with Dad  ,Jack, & Chris.

Cher harry, a little white butterfly followed me all around my garden today, I remembered how much you liked them.  We watched alot of nature shows, star trek, and i sneaked in a garden show when you started snoring.  You were a kind, and caring brother to me  and I'm glad we could spend alot of time together this last winter. I bet you are having a great time United with  mum, dad , jack, and your sweet cat babette. Most of all your heavenly  father who you loved, has welcomed you home. we will meet again abientot jetaime denise 

We are sad to hear of Harry's passing. We send our condolences to Mickey, Julie, Belle, Denise and your families. It is hard losing a loved one and Harry was certainly loved by his family. We witnessed that on our last visit. May the Lord bless you and keep you and give you peace during this time. Life is fragile we need to make sure we handle it with care. My best days on the farm were when my cousins from Windsor would roll into our driveway! Coming from a family with only sisters ... I loved having Harry and big brother Jack on the farm! Too small to keep up with all of us girls ... but still so many memories of Harry’s adorable gentle ways and big smile. The family move to Arizona separated us by miles but never in spirit . Harry has been in our prayers ... and now my prayers turn to his sisters that are grieving his loss! Every time I hear his name I think of my Dad too. The world was a better place because of them ! ♥️

The Hrycay family in Amherstburg, Caledonia and Cambridge Ontario, Ogilvie, Nova Scotia and Coral Springs, Florida send hugs to all of our Chauvin cousins.  Harry is remembered for his big smiles that he had for everyone.  He is at peace now and hope that you will all celebrate your memories of Harry together.

Harry was a gigantic Star Trek fan.  One of the most memorable lines came when Spock sacrificed himself to save the rest of the crew.  In a very sad and emotional scene, Spock tells Captain Kirk "You have always been, and always shall be my friend."  Harry was not only my best friend, but he was a part of our family.  To me he was a brother.  To my kids, he was Uncle Harry.  He was a fixture in our house, complete with his spot on the couch and seat at the table.  I was a young man of 19 when I came to meet Harry.  Who knew that by taking a job making pizza would result in the friendship of a lifetime.  My heart aches selfishly that you are no longer with us, but I find comfort in knowing the pain and struggles you faced the last few years are now behind you.

You have always been, and always shall be my friend.

Harry you are my baby brother as I am your big sister. You may have left this earth but you will never leave my heart. You are the strongest person I know. You have seen the promised land and have been welcomed home as the Father's son. Well Done.  Angel's in the outfield. GO JETS


I remember all the times at the cabin in Payson you beating us at monopoly with such glee!  I will miss your barbeque fish dinners, our talks, going to the movies and all the family gatherings over the years were we had some really good times.  I remember the teddy bear you gave me when I came home from the hospital after my appendectomy that made me feel really good. You were a kind and gentle soul, a wonderful brother to me.  I will miss you so much baby brother.  You are free now!
