James Harris Jr., of Tempe AZ and Retired US Army Veteran passed away June 12, 2010. James was a devout minister of the gospel in the Church of Christ as well as a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. James is survived by his wife Mary Harris, sons: James Harris III and Clinton Hopkins, daughters; Gloria McClinton, Joan Harris, Jennifer Cooper, Jacquelyn Lyons, Tamika Walton and Jamie Harris, son-in-laws: Robert Lyons, John Cooper and William Martinez, daughter-in-law: Vanessa Hopkins, 15 grandchildren and 26 great grand children. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, June 17, 2010 at Lakeshore Mortuary, 1815 S. Dobson Rd, Mesa, AZ. Interment to follow, with full military funeral honors at the Veteran's National Memorial Cemetery.
