Jan Walding, age 86, died in her home, surrounded by family, on 11 November 2021. Jan was born 1 September 1935 in Mesa, Arizona to Mr. and Mrs. Jess and Levis Brown. Those who were blessed with the opportunity of loving Jan knew her best as ‘Nana’. Nana would be proud to claim her family among her greatest accomplishments. Nana kept her Daddy and Momma’s memory as a living inspiration to everyone she encountered. Nana would find deep pride in both her children who she is survived by, Gary (Michaela) Brown and Linda Klein. Also surviving Jan are her many generations of grandchildren. From Gary: Rachelle (Majid) Hazine, Eric (Karen) Brown, Theresa Brown, Justin (Cassie) Brown. From Linda: Matthew (Patti) Brown. Her great grandchildren are: Nick, Todd, Kelcey, Bryson, Jordan, Nathan, Mason, Ashlyne, Alyssa, and Dylan. A great joy in Nana’s life was to see five generations of family with the birth of her great-great-grandson Tidus Brown (son of Nick). Jan is preceded in death by her Parents (Jess and Levis), her brother Brian, her son-in-law Chuck Klein, and her late husband Thomas Michael Brown. The family will be holding a graveside service in place of a funeral.
