

John Henry Long VI, age 67, of Mesa, Arizona passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2025. a. Born in Inglewood, California to parents John Henry Long V and Dolores Marie Garcia, John was the youngest and only brother to his eight sisters - Jeani, Gigi, Patty, Dolores, Jackie, Joyce, Betsy, and his twin sister Inez.
John enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking, classic rock music, muscle cars, riding his motorcycle, watching sports, and attending church with his grandchildren. He always managed to crack jokes and lift the mood of those around him. John possessed and took pride in his strong work ethic and level of tidiness. As he loved cooking, it was common for John to make meals so large he would share with his neighbors in addition to making “grandpa food deliveries” for his grandchildren.
John has now joined his parents, John, and Dolores, along with his sisters - Joyce and Patty, in eternal rest in the presence of God. He is survived by his four children - John, Alex, Chris, Dan, and six grandchildren - Ella, Deryl, Zayden, Sebashtian, Theodore, and Oliver.

A visitation for John will be held Saturday, June 14, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 400 South Power Road, Mesa, AZ 85206.
