Joseph Valentine Cortez

Joseph Valentine Cortez, born on March 27, 1983 passed away surrounded by family on March 21, 2025. A beloved husband, father, brother, and friend. Joseph's life was marked by kindness, laughter, an an unwavering love for his family.

Joseph had many passions including, working on vehicles, often spending his time in the garage with his best friend, James. Their bond was unbreakable and together they shared countless memories that will be treasured forever.

He is reunited in eternal peace with his loving mother; Robyn Lynn Roberson, and his beloved father; Bobby Gerald Roberson. Joseph is survived by his devoted wife; Stephanie Cortez and their cherished children; Courtlynn and Hendrix Cortez, sisters; Dawn Locarnini, Crystal (Rene) Hernandez and Sara Locarnini.

Though Joseph’s time with us was far too short, the love and warmth he shared will continue to live on in the stories, memories, and lasting impressions he left behind. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and everyone who was fortunate enough to call him a loved one.

A Celebration of life will be held in Joseph's honor on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 2:00pm at Veteran of Foreign Wars Post 3513; 7220 E Wilshire Dr. Scottsdale, AZ 85257.
