Born on November 23rd 1935 her early life was not easy. She persevered with a strong spirit and work ethic. She was an outstanding student in high school. She was on her own after she graduated high school but, with excellent grades she was able to attend Michigan University and later transfer to Michigan State. Her intelligence and work ethic never failed her. Work was all she knew and it was her life.
Joyce’s life changed dramatically on February 16th 1963 when she married Joseph Edward “Mitch” Mitchell. He introduced her to something called a “Vacation”. While she still worked hard as a Real Estate Agent, she started living a life she hadn’t experienced before and it was a happy 40 years until Mitch passed away in 2003. Joyce is survived by her sister Judy Morway of Hollywood, Florida.
She loved and understood real estate as few others did. She made many friends through her real estate business. Helping her clients was more important than the “Sale”. Her clients and associates were many and many became lifelong friends.
In 2008 she moved into the Sunland Springs Community. The fellowship and friendships she developed was one of her greatest blessings. Almost daily she would express how thankful and blessed she was to have such wonderful and thoughtful friends. May God bless them all.

and long if you sigh”
