Kent married Joy on December 27, 1977 and they were married for 37 years. Seven was their lucky number.
Kent is survived by his loving wife, Joy; sons, Jeff (Barbara) and Kent Steven; grandchildren, Trevor (Andi), Steven, and Tabatha; great granddaughter, Evelynn; brothers, Dean (Marge), Jerry (Jan), Tom (Lynne); sister, Kay; special friends, Talia, Alenah, and Debbie; along with many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park and Funeral Care, 6747 E. Broadway Rd., Mesa, AZ 85206. Services in Aberdeen, South Dakota will be held in late spring. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Kent’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjude.org.
