LaVerne F. Giese passed away on August 13, 2011, in Mesa, Arizona. Born in Chicago, Illinois, to Clifford and Ester (nee Pickett) Sherer, LaVerne arrived on February 19, 1927. LaVerne was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is survived by her son Jeff Giese, daughter and son-in-law Stephanie and Blair Leach Sr., and 4 grandchildren, Grant Giese of Minnesota,Andrew D. Leach, Brittany R. Leach, Blair and Krystal Leach Jr. and 2 great grandchildren, Brealynn D. Leach daughter to Blair Leach Jr. & Ashley Riemath, Krysten Brown daughter to Blair & Krystal Leach Jr. of Mesa,Arizona. LaVerne is preceded in death by her late husband Charles Giese, and her parents. A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2011 at 8:30 a.m. at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park and Funeral Care 400 South Power Road Mesa, Arizona 85206 (480) 830-4422.
