Leslie Dyer of Mesa, AZ, on May 27, 2016, passed away peacefully with his family by his side. He was born June 23, 1924 in Gordon, Nebraska. He was a World War II veteran. His early years he spent his life at an Army depot as a communication specialist. In 1964 he moved to Las Cruses, NM and worked for NASA. 1967 he moved to Rapid City, SD, and finished his career at Ellsworth Air Base. After retirement he spent 17 wonderful years as a construction supervisor for The Labors for Christ. He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years Betty; his brother Robert Dyer and sister Norma Jane Miller. Les was a loving husband,devoted father and adoring grandfather and great grandfather He is survived by is wife Ruth, son Leslie, daughters Kathy, Mary and LeaAnn, 9 grand children and 18 great grandchildren; his sister Donna and brothers Jesse and Jerry Leslie. In lieu of flowers we request a donation to Labors For Christ and Hospice of the Valley.
