Louise H. Daniel

Louise Heroux Daniel, Age 98, of Mesa, died on June 8, 2014. Louise was born on June 24, 1915 in St. Mathias, Minnesota. She was the 13th of 14 children and the last of her siblings to pass away. Louise moved to Arizona in 1949 as one of the original Merrill Lynch employees to open the Phoenix office. After a long career with Merrill Lynch she retired in 1985. In her retirement Louise volunteered for many years at both Phoenix Memorial Hospital and then Chandler Regional Medical Center. Louise is survived by her son Bruce (Jane); grandchildren Kristen Severson (Douglas), Christopher Daniel (Chelsea), Alexander Daniel and Ian Litwin; great granddaughter Mckenzie Severson. Louise is also survived by many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. Louise was a wonderful mother, grandmother, aunt and friend who will be missed greatly by all who loved her. The family would like to thank the staff and care providers of both Emerald Groves North in Mesa, as well as Hospice of the valley for their excellent care, dedication, and compassion they provided during the past several months. Visitation will begin at 6:00pm, followed by Rosary at 700pm on Friday, June 13, 2014 at Lakeshore Mortuary; 1815 S. Dobson Rd., Mesa, AZ 85202. Funeral Mass will be held 12:00pm, Saturday, June 14, 2014 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church; 1800 E. Libra Dr., Tempe, AZ 85283. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower Street, Phoenix, AZ 85014.
