Nana Lupe,

I will always remember when I was little and would stay over with uncle Tony & aunt Ronnee and i could tell it was you coming through the front door by the sound of your keys hitting the door. You coming in tired but always ready to make dinner. Fresh beans on the counter was your staple. I could always count on you for some good beans lol but I was blessed to have known you and got to visit you with my kids. They enjoyed seeing you and loved when you would poke their bellies. I'll remember the time you and Ariyah were going at it fighting lol seeing that on the ring camera was hilarious! And Briyah enjoyed going in your room and asking you questions and you not understanding what she was saying lol I will remember how everytime you saw us you knew who we were and how you'd ask me " you still live in chandler?" And I'd say "yes" and you'd reply "I never liked Chandler" hahahaha 

We will sure miss you nana Lupe. My girls and I will never forget you and we will talk about you often! ♥️ we love you always!

My Nana Lupe was one of a kind. She had this way about her—mean, but always with love. She carried a harsh gentleness, a tough exterior that wrapped around a heart full of care. Nana didn’t sugarcoat things, but you always knew her words came from a place of love and protection.

Growing up, some of my best memories were made in her home. Whether she was telling us to “go play outside,” combing my hair before school, or cooking up meals not just for her family but for anyone who happened to walk through her door—Nana made sure everyone was taken care of. Her kitchen was always open, and so was her heart.

Nana never turned her back on her family. Even when her choices didn’t always make sense to us, she stood as the greatest example of loyalty and sticking by those you love. She reminded us, by the way she lived, that family isn’t perfect—but you show up for them anyway.

Nana, I will miss you deeply. But I’m at peace knowing you are at peace. Thank you for always being in my corner, for your tough love, and for being the nana to me. You were the strongest woman I’ve ever known, and I will carry your lessons with me forever

To my beautiful and wonderful mother, I am so thankful to God that he gave my siblings and I our mom for so many years. I am also so thankful that my two youngest children were able to know their grandmother into adulthood. I have so many fond memories of my mom too many to put into this message. I will say she loved her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and she might even have great great great grandchildren. My mom loved to cook for her family I remember many great times that we had at her house, that was the Gathering Place. Those wonderful memories will stay with me forever. See you in glory mi Madre querida.

Nana Lupe, you will always hold a special place in our hearts. Your life was full of grace, strength, and unwavering faith. The love you poured into your family left a powerful legacy that continues to shine through each of us.

I see how much you meant to my husband the deep love he had for you is evident in his quiet moments of reflection. The bond you two shared was something truly special, and I know he will carry your memory with him for the rest of his life.

Talia, Emerick, and Cassian, were so blessed to know you. Though they have had other great-grandmothers, you were the only one they ever met and truly got to know throughout the year's. That alone makes the time they had with you even more meaningful. They will always remember visiting you your sweet smile, warm hugs, and the gentle spirit that made them feel welcome.

Anytime my husband wanted to visit, and I was able to go, I always did because I know how important family is. Looking back, I’m so grateful for those visits and for the time I spent with you too. I miss you, Nana Lupe, and I’m thankful to have known your kindness and love.

Though our hearts are heavy, we take comfort knowing you lived a long and full life and entered into rest peacefully. We rejoice in knowing you are now in the presence of our Lord and Savior. As it is written in 2 Timothy 4:7, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” You truly did, Nana, and now you rest in glory.

Glad I met you years ago growing up in the Victoria went to Flora Thew with your daughter Veronica whom is married to my cousin Anthony. My Cousin Joann married your son Paul. Went to Bro. Kings church where alot of your family attended also. God Bless and comfort your family at this difficult time.

To my beautiful mother, Lupe Mendivil how you work so hard to provide for us, you and dad have provided a home, food on the table,  clothes on our backs and provided a work ethic, instilled in us to provide for our own families with no complaining. ( well maybe a little complaining)  my memories of you and my dad will last a lifetime for  generations to come. The words can not provide how deeply and sad I am to see you go. You have lived a long, productive life, and I would be honored to follow in your footsteps.  I miss you mom very very much and hope to see you soon in Heaven   Love always your favorite child Paul Mendivil.  Sorry I had to put that in there since everyone says I look like you and I’m proud of it. ❤️
