Mabel I. Heck, 89, of Tempe, Arizona, passed away on Friday, October 12, 2012 at the Health Care Center of Friendship Village. A Memorial Service celebrating her life will be held at 1:00PM on Sunday, October 28th at Friendship Village, 2645 E. Southern Ave., Tempe, Arizona. Survivors include her husband, William “Bill” Heck of Tempe, 3 daughters: Laurel Selin, Laguna Beach CA, Anne (Walt) Ahland, Mesa, AZ, Eileen (Cory) Atwell, New Lenox, IL, and daughter-in-law, Beckie (Fred) Heck, Holland, OH. She greatly enjoyed her 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Elim Fellowship, 1703 Dalton Road, Lima, NY 14485 with a memo stating “Preferred for Roger Clark Project, in memory of Mabel Heck.” Roger is a family member missionary in Haiti.
