María Concepción González, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at the age of 82. Born on June 2, 1943, in Mexico, María lived a life rooted in strength, faith, and devotion to her family.
After moving to the United States, she proudly became a citizen in Phoenix, Arizona, on July 4, 1998—a date that reflected both her love of her adopted country and her enduring resilience. Widowed earlier in life, María carried herself with quiet dignity and unwavering determination, serving as the foundation and guiding light for her family.
María’s presence was warm and steady, her wisdom often shared around the kitchen table, and her laughter a source of comfort and joy to all who knew her. She had a gift for nurturing others, reminding everyone of the value of kindness, hard work, and family unity.
She is survived by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren who will forever cherish her memory. Though she is no longer with us in body, María’s spirit lives on through the love she shared and the lessons she instilled.
Her family takes comfort knowing that she is reunited with loved ones who passed before her, resting in eternal peace.
Funeral services will be held at Lakeshore Mortuary in Mesa, AZ on Sept 11th at 9am. Friends and family will gather to honor a remarkable woman whose legacy will never fade.
Rest in peace, María Concepción González.
