Thank you for your kindness, Mrs LaFountain..I intend to tell Billy about the dream I had about you on Aug 9 and your instructions to him. Sitting in my apartment - the one you were going to come and see soon - thinking about what to write on here has made me look back at the past 27 years and how lucky I am to have such an amazing woman in my life. As Meme Gloworm mentioned you have left everyone with so many great memories and I am no exception...from your 4th of July and New Years Parties, to sewing my blanket in order to give me the best corner to use EVER, to your michigan sauce, just to name a few.  I will never ever forget your laugh - what an incredible laugh - your smile, your hugs - no matter how weak you felt your hugs were always so strong - your spirit, your stubbornness, your zest for life...I could keep going but I think  you get the point :)  Heaven is lucky to have you...Pepe, Uncle Bobby, and Uncle Ricky are lucky to have you again - give them my love. Watch over all of us, Meme, as I know you will.  Loving you and missing you always.

Marian, (Lady Jane)  I will never forget you.  We were always family no matter where life took us.  You and Leon (Bud) always considered me an extra daughter in law.  God took you away to ease your pain but he left us here crying.  I know you wouldn't approve because you have always said no tears just have a party and remember me. Tears are words from the heart that can never be spoken. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal but leaves memories that no one can steal  I will always love you

I will miss you Mom, you were there watching over me every day to make sure I was ok for the last year and half even tho we did not speak alot, just knowing you were here, that alone was comforting.

I'll always have very fond memories of Marian. She was a person to be admired - hard working, independent, giving, and accepting of people from all walks of life. I'll never forget her New Year's Day dinners in the early 90s when she slaved in the kitchen all day long, to gladly serve dozens of people - putting other's needs above hers. When I was in college, she and Leon always gave me unexpected, welcome, and useful gifts at Christmastime. I'm very fortunate to have had the opportunity to have long chats with her in Arizona last spring - it will be a trip to remember. Much love to the Lafountain family, Jonathan T.
