Marian K. Wikstrom

Our Heavenly Father called home Marian Kathryn Wikstom, on Wednesday, January 2, 2013. Marian was born in Manson, Iowa, on 06/16/41 to Ralph and Rena Gronewold. Having spent her formative years in Iowa, she moved to Minneapolis where she met the love of her life, David B. Wikstrom. They raised 2 children, Michael and Kimberly, in the Minneapolis area, in 1983 moved to Mesa, Arizona. She had a unique sense of humor and her view of life was always enlightening! We will miss her smile and red-headed feisty personality. Marian is survived by her son, Michael Wikstrom, daughter, Kimberly (Rick) Sheley, Grandchildren, Colton, Ethan, Brianne, Danielle, Anja and Eliah, Sister Ruth Schaefer, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Marian was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Marvin and loving husband, David. Visitation and services will be held at Lakeshore Mortuary, 1815 South Dobson Rd, Mesa, AZ. Visitation, Mon., Jan. 7th from 6 – 8PM. Services, Tues., Jan. 8th at10AM. Interment will be at the Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery at 12:30PM.
