Marilyn Jean Whiting of Mesa, Arizona passed away December 15, 2020 at the age of 83. She was born February 1, 1937 in Santa Rosa, California to Russell and Ardis [Jones] Rinehart. Marilyn was married to Ronald Morris Whiting on December 22, 1954 and were blessed with three children, Christy, Steve and Jeff. She loved the outdoors, fishing, camping as well as working with ceramics, but what brought her most joy in life was the time she had with her family. Marilyn is survived by her loving husband Ron Whiting of 66 years; her children, Christy (Dale) Sproul, Steve (Kim) Whiting and Jeff Whiting; grandchildren, Michael (Carol), Nicole, Shawn, Thomas, Eric and Alicia; great grandchildren, Michael Jr. (Itzel), Alexis (Ben), Jada, Samuel, Taylor, Ella, and Blake; great-great granddaughter Jude; and her brother-in-law Everett Shively and sister-in-law, Carolyn (Gary) Rickett. A celebration of life will be held at 10:30am, Monday, December 21, 2020 at Mariposa Gardens Funeral Care, 400 S. Power Rd, Mesa, AZ.
