Marion M. Lewis

My mother passed away peacefully on January 14, 2021. Her services and celebration of life will be on May 18 , 2021 at 9am at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park in Mesa, Arizona. She will be placed next to Jack she was married 55 years to him as of November 29 at the time of his death . Marion was the baby of nine children. Her mother and father Peter Joseph King and Annie (Rapp). She was preceded in death by Peter ( Margaret ),Joseph (Eleanor ),John ( Marjorie ) James (Joan)and Edward. She was survived by her only living sister in law Lucille King married to Edward .She was preceded in death by her sisters Alice (Phillip Bretz), Catherine (Herbert Wolff) and Ellen (Steven Aurella) (Dell Heinz). Was survived by her Daughter Linda (Michael ) Martin. She was survived by two grandchildren: Christine (Mike ) Kellogg and Michelle (Bill) Thomas. She had four great grandchildren: Alyssa Kellogg, Zachary Thomas, Austin (Hannah) Kellogg and Mandi Tellerino.

She loved her Senior Center from the lunches, to the playing of cards, the exercising , socializing ,the Christmas parties, the holiday parties and holiday lunches she loved it all that’s what she lived for her mornings at the senior center five days a week. And it was very difficult when they had a day off for some holiday. Corvid virus has been really hard on her she hasn’t been able to get out and she really missed it. She had suffered from brain tumors that we were unaware of they were so massive that they could not be operated on from the time we found out there was only 10 days that she was in “Hospice of the Valley”. Any donation could be placed to an animal rescue she was very adamant that animals not be injured or hurt or any Senior Center she felt that that was her redemption was the Senior Center she loved going there.

There will be a Committal Service for Marion at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park 6747 E. Broadway Rd. Mesa, Arizona on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at 10:30am.
