

Mary Lou passed away peacefully on May 1, 2013 with her family at her side. She was a loyal and lifetime follower of the Catholic Church and was deeply loved by her family and friends. Mary Lou was a devoted and loving mother, wife, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many. Mary Lou was born on September 1, 1921 in Galesburg, Illinois. While living in Galesburg as a young woman, she met the love her life, Richard R. Fosburg. They were married in 1941 and had a wonderful 37 years of marriage together. During the majority of their marriage they lived in Galesburg and Rock Island, Illinois before moving to Scottsdale, Arizona in 1971. She worked as a bookkeeper for the majority of her career serving at a variety of establishments in the greater Phoenix area until her retirement at the age of 83. Her employers included a cattle auction house, golf cart sales establishment, plant nursery, dress store, restaurant and real estate office. Mary Lou is survived by her son Richard (wife Jennifer) of Scottsdale, Arizona; grandson Chris (wife Erin) of Phoenix, Arizona; sister Patricia of Davenport, Iowa; great granddaughters, Olivia and Drew and her devoted nieces Linda and Kevin.
