She was born in Astoria, New York on January 4, 1944 to William and Nora (Combs) Hanley, moving to Arizona 39 years ago, where she worked for the City of Mesa as an office clerk. Mary enjoyed watching (and occasionally purchasing from) HSN and QVC shopping networks. She also enjoyed Facebook and other forms of social media, and was fond of margaritas.
Mary is survived by her husband Clyde; son Gary Greenwood and his wife Fay, Bill Greenwood and his wife Kim; daughter Margie Roman and her husband Darren; grandchildren Kyle and Katelyn Greenwood, Kathleen and Nate Mellow, Kristopher Greenwood, Lauren, Anthony and Joey Roman; brother in law Gary Greenwood and his wife Maureen; sister Arlene Cardenes and her husband Andreas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on June 6, 2015 at 4pm at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park and Funeral Care.
