Mary C. Mulay, born, August 27, 1914 in Chicago, IL, passed away on June 20, 2014 in Mesa, AZ at the age of 99. Mary was a longtime volunteer in her hometown of Elmwood Park, IL. She served as Women's Club president, P.T.A. president and secretary/treasurer of the church bowling league. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and taught those arts at Triton College in River Grove, IL. She continued her volunteering when she moved to Mesa at the Mesa Multi Generational Center. Mary was preceded in death by her husband Anthony Mulay; her son Joseph Mulay; her sister Carmella Loprino; and her brother Anthony Farina. She is survived by her sister Anne Cali, and brothers Vincent Farina and Edward Farina. She is also survived by daughters Marilyn Mulay, Patricia Kemper and her daughter-in-law Paula Mulay as well as her grandchildren: James Mulay, Denise Hicks, Dana Lira, James Rudnick, Elizabeth Samways and Scott Pearson, and seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
