I am sorry to hear that you are gone. Unfortunately we never got to meet, even though I was adopted into the Woodworth family,  you were still my half brother. Prayers and condolences go out to your family at this painful time of loss.

I can remember meeting you for the first time when I was 13 in your and Christine's apartment. You have always been so full of laughter and joy. You were a great father, husband, brother, and friend. I have learned so much from you over the past 27 years. You were always there when I needed someone to talk to. Just an overall great guy. Thank you for everything and thank you for being an awesome brother in law. You are truly going to be missed. I love you brother. Till we meet again.

I have tried a dozen times to write something about you. But instead I will write to you. You and Christine came into our life’s and made a special place in my heart that I will never forget. Like the little brother and sister I never had. To the man that loved my cooking but more like to tease your beautiful wife about it. Until we meet again little brother. I will always love you guys. I was blessed to have Christine and Michael as a second set of parents growing up. Mike had the best sense of humor and always lit up the room, he was also a great dad. He did so much for me and Micki growing up. He took us on plenty on lunch dates, played guitar with us, always showed us how to be silly. He was loved by so many and will be missed. ❤️

Christine, micki and Sophia, I love you all so much and will keep you all in my prayers. 

As long as I have the ability to remember, I will remember you, Mike. I cannot think of my life without thinking of yours. From riding bikes and playing as boys, to living together in Urbana and Savannah, to you sharing yours, Christine's and Michaela's home with me in Rantoul, to seeing you in Sophia. We will always be part of each other and part of me is gone now. I love you so much and will see in your family the goodness that you leave behind. You made this world better and will be missed so, so dearly by those that loved you. It hurts to say it for the last time, but I Love You, Cousin.

Michael, I’ll never forget my Facebook opera birthday message from you: you were so goofy, sincere, and thoughtful. You lit up every room and heart you encountered, you brought joy to all around you with your unforgettable smile and genuine light, and you loved so fully we could feel it from miles away. You are missed beyond measure.  Words can’t do justice to what’s in my heart or mind, but your spirit was radiant, and your absence is felt. We will always be Familia.

We love you always, and we will carry you with us. Christine, Micki, and Sophia, I love you so much. I’m sending love, strength, and hope for peace from Florida. 

My heart goes out to Christine, Sophia, Michaela, and the rest of the family. 

You can learn a lot about a person by the impact they have on others - and I know that Michael always had a positive impact on those around him, including myself. He meant a great deal to a lot of people, and for good reason. 

Everyone I know that had the pleasure of meeting Michael always had only good things to say about him.  I admired most his ability to be as serious as it gets when necessary, but also let loose and be a major goofball when the time was right.

The world lost an amazing father & husband on August 1st, though I hope that we can take solace knowing that parts of him will live on forever through his daughters and the people he had an impact on throughout his life. 

Michael, such a void has been left in this world without your beautiful smile and eternal youth.  Christine, Michaela and Sophia, I hold you in my prayers.

Christine, may God shine his light of peace and comfort onto you and your family. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers. 

I will never forget how sweet and thoughtful Mike always was.. Always had a kind word, a hug and that beautiful smile... all of our wonderful “Red Lobster” lunch dates... such great memories my dear sweet friend... I have cried a million tears and I’m sure I will cry a million more until we meet again.. Rest In Peace...I pray for your mom, Christine & all your family, what a loss for sure 💔💔💔

August 1st my heart broke in a way I didn’t know was possible.  It broke for the loss of my precious nephew.  It broke for his lovely wife and their two fabulous daughters.  It broke for my sweet sister Peggy and for the rest of our family.  We will recover from this but never be the same.  I miss you already my sweet, beautiful souled, smiling nephew.  All my love Christine, Michaela and Sophia!

Christine, my prayers are with you and your daughters and entire family during this difficult time. Although I never had the opportunity to meet Mike I loved the stories you always told about him and he certainly seemed to be a great guy, father, and husband. May God comfort your hearts. May he provide sweet rest, and strength. May you and your girls remember all the wonderful things about Mike and cherish those forever.
