Mirtha Rosenda Reyes

Mirtha was known as many things to many people. She was a loved one, a friend, and someone truly special. To family and friends who knew her best, she will be remembered as a very exceptional, beautiful, fun-loving and adventurous person who always had a warm smile, contagious laugh and loved to dance.

She was the daughter of Victor and Maria Sanchez, born March 4, 1963 in San Luis, Sonora, Mexico and lived in Arizona throughout her life.

Mirtha was a loving wife and mother to her husband Ruben and their three children and did her everything to fulfill their needs. Her primary occupation was taking care of her family; however, she was employed for the last ten years at Walmart. She was blessed with three children, Ruben Jr., Wally and April. Another blessing for Mirtha was the gift of five grandchildren, Lilly, Isabella, Mikey, Damien and Alonzo.

Simply stated, Mirtha was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by her family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Mirtha leaves behind her a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life she touched will always remember Mirtha Rosenda Reyes.

Mirtha is survived by her beloved husband of 34 years Ruben Reyes; sons Ruben (Candi) Reyes Jr. and Wally (Nicole) Reyes; her daughter April Reyes; five grandchildren Lilly, Isabella, Mikey, Damien and Alonzo; three sisters Sonia (Henry) Ramirez, Erika Carillo Sanchez and Sandra (Hector) Aguirrebarrena; her parents Victor and Gloria Hernando as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2015 from 12:00 – 2:00 pm with a funeral service at 2:00 pm at Mariposa Gardens Cemetery Chapel, 6747 E. Broadway Rd in Mesa. Arrangements entrusted to Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park & Funeral Care (480) 830-4422
