Nancy Kasprzyk, a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2025, in Tempe, Arizona, at Friendship Village Long Term Care Center, surrounded by her loving family. Born on August 1, 1943, in Racine, Wisconsin, Nancy brought light, love, and joy into the lives of everyone she touched.
On January 11, 1964, Nancy married her high school sweetheart, Richard “Dick” Kasprzyk, in Kansasville, Wisconsin. Together they raised two children, Laura and Dan, building a family rooted in love and faith.
Nancy had a natural gift for teaching and mentoring. After attending teaching college in Union Grove, Wisconsin, she began her career in a two-room schoolhouse in Yorkville, where she taught second and third grade. Her warmth and encouragement left a lasting impression on her students and their families.
In 1972, Dick and Nancy moved to Minocqua, Wisconsin, where Nancy discovered a new calling with Mary Kay. She became a consultant on June 27, 1980, and over the years built a thriving unit of more than 175 amazing women. She rose to Sales Director, earning 19 career cars, including five of the iconic Pink Cadillacs. More than her own success, Nancy cherished empowering others. She often reminded her team, “You have to have a dream…for a dream to come true.”
In October 1986, Dick and Nancy moved their family to Mesa, Arizona, where Nancy continued her Mary Kay career and embraced one of her greatest joys—becoming a grandmother. She was wholeheartedly devoted to her eight grandchildren and later to her seven great-grandchildren, pouring love, guidance, and encouragement into each of their lives.
Nancy also treasured special places that reflected her love of nature and beauty. For nine consecutive years, she and Dick traveled to Maui, where they walked the beaches, watched the whales, and marveled at the sunsets. In 1994, they purchased a cabin in Payson, Arizona, where Nancy delighted in watching elk and birds from the yard, spending summers by the river with her grandchildren, and taking the whole family to the Payson Rodeo. She also loved country music, and she and Dick could often be found two-stepping at concerts and dance halls on the weekends.
Nancy’s love for life was contagious. Her positivity, energy, and unwavering spirit touched everyone around her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, encouragement, and joy that will live on through her family and friends. She will be deeply missed.
