Nancy Jeannette Marsh, age 77, of Mesa, Arizona passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2024, following a short battle with cancer.
She was born September 6, 1946 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to parents Frank Sylvester Hemze and Shirley Joyce (Plonsky) Hemze. She had an older sister Sandra and a younger sister Wendy.
Soon after high school, she married Russell Carlson and together they had three children, Devona, Kristine, and Bryan. She graduated from "nursing school" and then worked as an LPN. After she and Russ divorced, Nancy remained in Minnesota for awhile, raising her three children. In 1988 she married Gary Marsh. Through the years, she made several moves back and forth between Minnesota and Arizona. She and Gary had been living in Mesa, Arizona for some time before her passing.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her two sisters. She is survived by her husband Gary, her three children, Devona (Mark) Emerson, Kristine (Andy) Schneider, and Bryan (Kari) Carlson, four nieces, a nephew, and eight grandchildren.
