Nancy Josephine Triner, 85, of Gilbert, AZ passed away in Gilbert, AZ on September 22, 2025. Nancy was born in Livingston, Montana to Clarence and Mary Boam on August 20,1940. She grew up in Butte, MT and attended Central High School. On November 29th 1958 she married the love of her life Bert Triner, and they were married for 56 years.
Nancy's life took her to Chile SA, Arizona, Nevada, Alabama, and back to Arizona. Nancy helped raise three children while in Tucson, and volunteered to work in the elementary school library before becoming a paid teachers aid at the school. In Nevada Nancy worked as a bank teller for Bank of America and Wells Fargo.
She loved to bowl, play volleyball, shop, cook, swim, travel, and spending time with her family. She served the Lord faithfully for over 50 years and will be deeply missed.
Nancy is preceded in death by her husband, Bert Triner, her daughter Jodie Dantzler, son Gary Triner, and granddaughter Theresa Triner.
Nancy is survived by her son Mark (Stacy) Triner of Surprise, AZ; son-in-law Jim Dantzler of Gilbert, AZ; seven grandchildren (Jimmy, Jordan, Jacob, Justin Dantzler; Brooke, Austin Triner) and two great-grandchildren (Lydia, Amelia Dantzler).
Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, October 11, 2025 at Via Church, 740 N. Power Rd, Mesa AZ 85206.
