I grew up at Tempe Nazarene Church with Pastor Stan and Patty at the helm. I also worked with her later through her families' business, Possibili*T's. I saw how much she juggled and even as a teenager, I marveled at it all. Later when I became a "Pastor's Wife" she was the only role model I thought of. And with those Cinderalla slipper heels she would wear I felt it impossible to literally or figuratively fill her shoes! Fortunately, the same God we serve has shown me the best honor you can pay someone is to simply just do your best. I am catching the news of her passing late, but I could not pass the moment by without telling the family what a gem Patty was from my heart. No doubt I was just one of many in her life she touched. Sincere condolences from the family of her cousin Bill. The two of them probably shared a big hug when she arrived, along with her Aunt Pauline, Uncle Harlan, and the delight of her soul, the Lord Jesus Christ. May those who knew and loved her sense His peace and comfort in the days to come.
