Paul Jerome McDevitt

Paul graduated from Wisner-Pilger High School and went on to earn a degree in Electrical Engineering from Northeast Technical Community College. He dedicated over 40 years of his career to the field, working with distinction at Motorola and later On Semiconductor.

Paul was a man of many passions, including model aviation, camping, and fishing. A proud member of the Arizona Model Aviators, he found joy in flight, nature, and time spent outdoors.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kay; stepson Darren; stepdaughter Cara; and cherished grandchildren William and Kyle. Paul is also survived by his brothers David (Josephine), Tom (Donna), Daniel (Rhonda), Richard (Mary), and Patrick (Annette), Sister in law Ronna along with their families. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A viewing will take place on Tuesday, July 1 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. A prayer service and burial will follow on Wednesday, July 2 at 10:00 a.m. These services will be held at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park, 6747 E Broadway Rd, Mesa, AZ 85206.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation or the Arizona Humane Society in Paul’s memory.
